Taxation is a good source of income for a country; therefore, we are appealing to various state governments in Nigeria that have come up with this formula to collect taxes from the people of their states so that they can be able to increase their internally generated revenue to honestly use the taxpayers money to work for the betterment of the people. Again, we are pleading that such tax collection should be done in a way that it would not put too much burden on the people of the state. Our point is that the people of Nigeria are already facing some economic challenges, so adding another tax burden to the existing ones may likely put Nigerians in a more tight corner. Hence, the Viewers Corner News team is calling on the state governments in Nigeria to make provisions where taxpayer money would be used nicely to the betterment of the people of every state in the country.
