PRESIDENT BUHARI’S APPROVAL RATING ON ISSUES OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN NIGERIA IS NOT ENCOURAGING BUT ON THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION, YES HE IS DOING NICELY.

Every government needs a strong economic team for the country in question to move forward. Democracy told us that everyone should be on board and bring his or her idea on a round table which the economic team would assess and work with to achieve success. Again achieving greatness on issues of economic development should be done collectively and not a one man show that is why democracy is believed by various schools of thought as the best form of government in the world therefore we are appealing to president Buhari and his government to be more flexible and open when it comes to issues of economic development, planning and control. As it is now, your administration’s policies on how to move the country (Nigeria) forward economically is not very clear, we (Viewers Corner News and the advisory team) quite agree that your government is doing great on the fight against corruption in the country (Nigeria) which is very good but we have also not seen much activities in your administration’s effort in trying to create jobs for the unemployed in the country. We sincerely believe that your government needs a strong economic team that would advise you on the way forward on issues of economic development. Also in the process of achieving this objective, every division of the Nigerian economy would have to be examined properly.

We are suggesting that president Buhari and his government should assemble a committee to negotiate with these Niger delta militants that are destroying the federal government facilities to stop their terrible atrocities because the country’s earning is badly affected coupled with the fluctuation in the price of petroleum products worldwide so that your government can plan and execute his economic programs adequately. Again your government should understand that the only source of income for the country (Nigeria) is being destroyed on daily basis and needs a solution to put things right. Viewers Corner News and the advisory team are worried because things are getting out of hand and need urgent attention to fix things correctly. We also believe that the less privilege Nigerians are the ones most affected, these are human beings who have no good means of livelihood and expect so much from the government. Even those who are working still find things very difficult in the country, let alone of those who are not working at all. In a country where social support is not paid, you can imagine the terrible effects the economic hardship has already created on the citizens of the country (Nigeria). Please now is the time to act and put things right in the country (Nigeria).
