CLOVER INDUSTRIES, A SOUTH AFRICA DAIRY PRODUCTS COMPANY WITHDRAWS FROM NIGERIAN MARKET.

Viewers Corner News correspondent learnt that a South Africa dairy products company, Clover Industries is withdrawing from Nigerian market due to the current financial crisis hitting the country which is caused by low oil price. The company’s Chief Executive, Johann Vorster said on Wednesday that his company will no longer invest in Nigeria until the current financial crisis in the country is resolved and that they would continue to expand in Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho and Swaziland. Our correspondent also gathered that Clover Industries have dismissed thousands of their workers and equally closed operations as they do not have enough dollars to pay for imported spare parts and raw materials. One of the Clover’s brand is Tropika juice and bottled water.
