ZINEDINE ZIDANE HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS THE REAL MADRID HEAD COACH AFTER THE FORMER COACH, RAFA BENITEZ WAS SACKED.

The Spanish football club, Real Madrid have dismissed coach Rafa Benitez who had a contract with the club until June 2018 and replaced him with the French great, Zinedine Zidane. Zinedine Zidane’s appointment was announced recently by the football President, Florentino Perez at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid (Spain). The 43-year-old new coach, Zinedine Zidane is one of Real Madrid’s youngest coaches and also the 11th coach Florentino Perez has installed during his two terms as the club’s President. Zinedine Zidane left Juventus in August 2001 and joined Real Madrid where he played for five seasons. He also served as the club’s assistant coach under Carlo Ancelotti.
