Yasutaro Koide, the world’s oldest man from Japan was reported dead on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Viewers Corner’s correspondent in Tokyo learnt that Yasutaro Koide died of chronic heart problems at a hospital in Nagoya (central Japan). He was born on March 13, 1903 and was 112 years old. Yasutaro Koide worked as a tailor when he was younger and the Guinness World Records recognized him as the world’s oldest man on August last year.
According to Yasutaro Koide, he said that his secret of long life was not smoking, drinking or overdoing things. Viewers Corner extend our condolence to the family of Yasutaro Koide and may his soul rest in peace.
