As human beings who believe in democratic system, no matter how bad or terrible a politician may be, he or she would always have people out there supporting him or her which democracy is trying to teach everyone but then, what matters here is the voice of majority of the people within the society in question. It is a well known fact that Dr. Bukola Saraki has been on the news negatively for a very long time but still few individuals in Nigeria are following him, perhaps as a result of what they are getting from him not necessarily because they like him. Somehow poverty and lack of awareness are part of why this is so which may take a very long time to overcome. This is also why corrupt leaders in Nigeria are able to manipulate the people of the country (Nigeria) as they wish.
If it were in a civilized society, there is no way any political party would appoint Dr. Bukola Saraki to lead a party (PDP). This man has series of scandals and court cases which were manipulated with the assistance of some corrupt judges in Nigeria to favour him and now he is leading a political party (PDP), may be some day he would come out to contest for Presidency and people would vote for him.
Our (Viewers Corner News team) message is clear to Nigerians; Please listen to the voice of reasoning. Some of these politicians you are following do not have your interest at heart, the truth has to be told. The politicians are manipulating the people of Nigeria for their own selfish gains. We (Viewers Corner News team) are referring to PDP and some of its members who ruined the economy of Nigeria after being in power for 16 years without nothing to show for it than looting the treasury of Nigeria.
We (Viewers Corner News team) would want Nigerians to figure this out themselves; Why would someone whose thugs confessed to killing 9 police officers and other innocent Nigerians during a robbery operation in Offa (Kwara state, Nigeria) be a leader of a political party (PDP)? Up till now, not much has been said about it instead the man who allegedly armed those robbers is being celebrated. This can only happen in Nigeria which is bad. However, Nigerians should figure out the answer to that question if they honestly want the country (Nigeria) to grow and be great at the same time.
