To be a good leader, so many things are involved, and no matter how certain individuals amass wealth through dubious means that brought them to the limelight, if leadership is not in your system, there is no way you can lead successfully. If anyone has the mindset that becoming president of Nigeria is about making a name for himself and his family, even when such a goal is achieved through dubious means, then such an individual would rather have a rethink. Being able to carry all Nigerians along is one aspect of leadership; listening to all Nigerians cry, irrespective of their ethnicity, is another aspect of leadership. Mr. Peter Obi said at some point that if he is in government and he is not stealing, his wife is not stealing, and his children are not stealing, then one aspect of the problem has been solved. Meaning that if the head is not rotten, then those following and working with you would not steal. Even if they are going to steal, they would do it with caution compared to when the head is highly corrupt, date of birth not known, the place of birth is not known, and the certificates presented are all forged. But because of the stolen wealth of the individual in question, he was able to buy the Independent National Electoral Commission of Nigeria and the judiciary of the country to become the president of Nigeria. So in this situation, even if those following you commit any crime, no one is going to challenge them properly because their master is doing the same thing. This analysis lead us to say that any home built on a weak foundation will surely collapse; it is just a matter of time. Again, if you look at the appointments to various sectors of the Nigerian economy, you would see that most individuals there do not have what it takes to manage their various divisions, but because of their connections, they were immediately given those positions. These are some of the reasons why the economy of Nigeria cannot move forward. So appealing to Mr. Peter Obi and Mr. Atiku Abubakar for assistance to run the economy of Nigeria is medicine after death. Again, if the job of running the economy of Nigeria is too difficult for the All Progressives Congress to handle, then they should step aside so that a more competent person can take over the leadership of Nigeria.
