Nigeria is a developing country and great in her own way, the leaders should be able to advise the citizens of the country most especially on environmental issues but if the leaders are not knowledgeable enough on environmental matters, they can learn from other nations of the world that know the importance and what it takes to keep pedestrian bridges safe and clean at all times for her citizens and not cows. Honestly there is nothing wrong for a country like Nigeria to learn from developed countries of the world and get her system in order. Viewers Corner News and the advisory team observed recently that cows in Nigeria are using pedestrian bridges in the country, this is not right and should never have been allowed to happen. Therefore we (Viewers Corner News and the advisory team) are appealing to president Buhari and his government to create educational awareness program to reach out to those individuals parading their cows on places that should be regarded as prohibited areas such as pedestrian bridges and so on, this attitude does not speak well of a great country like Nigeria.
Using pedestrian bridge built for human beings to cross cows is not right, the government should please make an alternative arrangement for these cattle handlers to ferry their cows and also provide good places for grazing so that their cows would not be using pedestrian bridges anymore. This could create environmental problems in the country (Nigeria) if not controlled.
