The Viewers Corner News correspondent in Enugu revealed to us that the governor of Enugu State recently appointed over forty special advisers to his government. This is a complete waste of Enugu State’s resources. We believe that any governor who knows his job properly should not have appointed such large numbers of advisers in his government. It is very wrong to do so. Again, the monthly allocation and the internally generated revenue from the state would be used to service the workers of the governors alone, while other areas of development would certainly be neglected. In Enugu State, pensioners are not properly paid, the state government has debt issues to settle, other ministry workers are also not properly paid, and now the governor has appointed so many advisers. In this situation, how can a state move forward?
