WHY DID GOVERNOR NYESOM WIKE OF RIVERS STATE RETIRE FOURTEEN PERMANENT SECRETARIES? WERE THEY CAUGHT IN ANY UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES AGAINST THE STATE, WHAT ARE HIS REASONS FOR DOING SO?

Governor Nyesom Wike

Information reaching Viewers Corner from Portharcourt, Rivers State (Nigeria) revealed that Governor Nyesom Wike has forced about fourteen permanent secretaries to retire from the state civil service recently.

Viewers Corner’s correspondent gathered information based on the interview he conducted with some senior government officials in various ministries in Rivers state that almost those that were retired are the ones Governor Wike believed were supporting Rotimi Amaechi, the former Governor of Rivers state (now Minister of Transportation) and as it is now based on what we know, this is politics of bitterness which is not right. We should all try and forgive one another, what is important now is moving Rivers state forward and creating a decent atmosphere for everyone in the state so that they can be happy and live a normal life.
Again, Governor Wike should not take because of the problems he may have had with Mr. Rotimi Amaechi and retire these people. If that is the case, then Governor Wike may be practising politics of bitterness.
Viewers Corner is pleading that Governor Wike reconsider his stand if possible to bring back the retired permanent secretaries to their various ministries.
