Something that has a beginning shall have an end; it is just a matter of time. When France was pushing some African countries left and right because they colonized them, France never knew that a day would come when the children of those France humiliated would take over power and begin to ask questions to know what happened. Now most French colonies in Africa found out the truth and are asking France to leave their countries because France is not there for good. Senegal is the newest country to have asked France to leave, which is great. Our point is this: if France wants to do business with Africa, it should be on a level playing field. It shall not be a master-servant system. Previously, we advised and are still saying that the only way unity can be achieved is when countries treat each other as equals. Be transparent in every aspect of dealings with each other; anything short of this would not be accommodated in today’s digital world, where information is available to mankind. Again, if France thinks that getting closer to Nigeria is going to get them a soft landing, then they should better have a rethink because France may be surprised at what they would get. Nigeria as a country is not a pushover country and may take a decision that would shock France at any given time. So France should tread carefully when dealing with Nigeria.
