Hon. Desmond Elliot, a fine Nigerian actor during his days in Nigeria’s film industry is appealing to the people of his constituency in Lagos state and Nigerians to forgive him for his utterances during the END SARS protest. During the protest, instead of speaking the truth or being quiet if he did not understand fully what happened at the toll gate where some Nigerians were killed, he spoke against the youths of Nigeria, calling them terrible names. Right now, he is begging and asking them for votes. These are the same people he insulted and neglected in the past, without their votes, he will not win the upcoming state house of assembly election. Recently, he bought a transformer for his Surulere constituency in Lagos state where he is representing. A project, he would have carried out long ago, instead, he constructed a wooden bridge which is nothing compared to what his colleagues have built in their constituencies across Nigeria. Hon. Desmond Elliot is a total failure according to some Nigerians in his constituency in Lagos state. Again, most voters in the Surulere constituency according to a Viewers Corner News correspondent who spoke to some of the people there said that they are Obidient and shall vote for a Labour Party candidate to represent them. They have rejected Hon. Desmond Elliot because of his recklessness during the END SARS protest. However, we are watching to see how the election will play out. In this life, as humans, we should always control what we say or do at every given time because if wrongly presented, such utterances may come back to hurt us in future.
