We (Viewers Corner) are pleased to hear that the Enugu state government has secured a loan of 2.3 billion Naira from the African development bank to beef up production in the rice farm at uzo-uwani local government area of Enugu state (Nigeria), this is a welcome news. With such huge amount of money, (2.3 billion Naira) it is expected that in the near future, there would be abundant food for people in Enugu state and also Nigeria as a whole, that is if managed properly. Not only making food available for the people in the state, it would also create job opportunities for people in the state. We applaud the Governor of Enugu state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for this brave move and ask other governors in various states of Nigeria to emulate this good example which the governor of Enugu state has just exhibited because we believe that if other governors in Nigeria can source for fund and carry out such project or any other viable venture in their various states, it would be of great benefit to the country (Nigeria). We also believe that in life, the most important thing every nation needs is to feed her citizens first by making available and also affordable food for the people of the country. Even if there is no sufficient money but the little an individual has would be able to buy some quality food for him or her, which is very important.
We (Viewers corner) appreciate the effort of Enugu state governor for his foresight to feed his people and we equally plead with him to use the fund nicely without any negative story that the money has gone missing, please kindly use the money (2.3 billion Naira) for which it was meant for and we believe that at the end, success would be achieved.
