WE PRAY AND HOPE THAT THE APC/PRESIDENT BUHARI LED GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT BE A ONE TERM LEADERSHIP PROGRAM BECAUSE OF HIS ECONOMIC POLICIES WHICH SEEMS NOT TO BE WORKING PROPERLY.

Laying a good foundation for others to follow is one of the essence of life and for this particular reason was why the Nigerian people overwhelmingly voted the APC/president Buhari led government to power and based on the past records of president Buhari’s activities when he was in power many years ago. Also because the Nigerian people needed a change as a result of the past government of Goodluck Jonathan’s failure to deliver better services to the Nigerian people, corruption was highly celebrated during that period and so many different sorts of atrocities went on which the former president Goodluck Jonathan could not control. So when Buhari came in, the people of Nigeria believed him completely that a man who would heal their wound which they sustained under the leadership of former Goodluck Jonathan has come. But then if we look around the country (Nigeria) today, things are not going as the Nigerian people expected and very soon it would be one year since president Buhari took over from Goodluck Jonathan’s government, his economic policies are not going in the right direction which is not a good sign for the APC/president Buhari’s led government.
Again, Nigeria is among the leading oil producing nations of the world but still the citizens of the country can barely get petroleum to buy at the fuel stations across the country (Nigeria). What of power supply? This is also another huge problem facing Nigeria. Recently our (Viewers corner) correspondent was on a special assignment to Portharcourt, he found out that a district called the Eligboro area of Portharcourt has been in darkness since the beginning of this year (January 2016). It was not long ago the residents of that area held a meeting and shared among themselves the sum of two thousand Naira per flat as a contribution so that they could repair the damaged government transformer which was the source of power supply to the area but up till now they are still in darkness. Normally such responsibility is for the government and not for the citizens to start contributing money to repair a damaged government transformer in Eligboro area of Portharcourt when there is a functional government in the country (Nigeria). Honestly this is not right and all these added together has kept people saying that during Goodluck Jonathan administration things were not so bad as it is now.
Sincerely we (Viewers corner) have analyzed the president Buhari’s administration and we came to the conclusion that his government is an honest one and has come to work for the betterment of all Nigerians but then like the great thinkers may say that no one on earth is perfect not even president Buhari who would like to rebuild Nigeria with all honesty. However our concern in this matter is for him to start implementing his economic policies to ease the painful situations Nigerians are passing through on a daily basis, life for the ordinary Nigerian person is biting so hard. Therefore we (Viewers corner) are pleading with president Buhari’s government to go into action as soon as his government can to make life a bit comfortable for the Nigerian people because if there is no positive change in the economy in the shortest possible time as the hardship keeps hitting the citizens of Nigeria, believe me this may affect APC/Buhari led government in the long run because the Nigerian people thought that by now, even if not much has been done in the economy but at least issues of petroleum, power supply and providing good network services (Telecommunication) for subscribers in Nigeria should have been taken care of. Instead of things getting better, it is getting worse.
Once again, we (Viewers corner) are appealing to president Buhari’s government to please look into these areas as we have pointed out in this article. Again President Buhari’s vision to end corruption in Nigeria is the best policy Nigeria as a nation has ever had since the country gained her independent in 1960 and the whole world appreciates his efforts on that aspect, hopefully they expect the APC/Buhari led government to turn the Nigeria economy in the right direction so that the Nigerian people can live a normal and happy life.
