This is a welcome development coming from the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Right now, the people of the country have asked the United Nations peacekeepers to leave the Democratic Republic of Congo because their objective to restore peace in the country has not been achieved. Instead, the Democratic Republic of Congo is suffering more than expected, and the fighting between various rebel groups has increased beyond expectations. We also heard that Rwanda is supporting and funding a rebel group in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which they denied. Again, the Democratic Republic of Congo holds the largest natural resource deposit in the world, and since these discoveries were made, the country has not known peace. Even as the war is ongoing, it was alleged that some countries that came under the United Nations as peacekeepers were busy mining and stealing the natural resources of the country instead of doing the peacekeeping assignment that took them there. But now, the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo have had enough and want all the countries out, including the United Nations peacekeepers, which is great.
