In the ongoing Wuhan open (China), Venus Williams, the top-ranked American and elder sister of Serena Williams defeated Italian Roberta Vinci on Friday, October 2, 2015 in the Semi-finals of the Wuhan Open.
On Saturday’s final, Venus Williams will face Garbine Muguruza who defeated Angelique Kerber. Venus Williams’ defeat over the Italian Roberta Vinci will be a consolation to her sister Serena Williams whom Roberta Vinci defeated at the Semi-finals of the just concluded US Open, 2015.
