UNITED STATES-LED COALITION JETS HIT ISLAMIC STATE MILITANTS KILLING ABOUT EIGHT OF THEM.

Viewers Corner News correspondent gathered that the recent United States-led coalition jets and Turkish howitzers have killed about eight Islamic state militants in the northern Syria’s Dabik region. According to the information, the IS militants were preparing to fire on Turkey with their stationed rocket and mortar batteries when the Turkish jets and artillery struck them, killing about eight of them. We also got report that the Turkish jets struck about seven Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) targets in Hakkari (southeastern province of Turkey). Meanwhile, five soldiers were killed in a roadside bomb at the Semdinli district of Hakkari and the attack was blamed on the PKK rebels (listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and the European Union). Since July 2015 cease-fire ended, not less than 600 Turkish security personnel have been killed by the PKK and about 5,000 Kurdish militants killed. IS has also increased its attack against Turkey, last month, a suicide attack which Islamic state claimed responsible for occurred at Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport killing 41 people and wounded many.
