UNITED STATES HAS IMPOSED SANCTIONS ON TWO NORTH KOREAN COMPANIES ACCUSED OF EXPORTING WORKERS.

Viewers Corner News correspondent reported that the United States has imposed sanctions on two North Korean companies accused of facilitating the export of workers from North Korea in violation of United Nations sanctions. The U.S. Treasury Department announced on Tuesday that the two companies are the Korea Namgang Trading Corp and China-based North Korean lodging facility, Beijing Sukbakso. The Korea Namgang Trading Corp is accused of exporting workers from North Korea to generate revenue for the North Korean government and Sukbakso ran a China-based lodging facility to facilitate labour export. Steven Mnuchin, U.S Treasury Secretary said that the exportation of North Korean workers raises illicit revenue for the North Korean government in violation of U.N. sanctions. The sanctions freeze any U.S assets of the blacklisted companies and generally prohibit Americans from doing business with them.
