One country the world can not afford to ignore is North Korea based on the recent nuclear and ballistic missile test. After series of appeals and warning from various countries around the world that North Korea should not conduct such dangerous test which the leader Kim Jong Un and his country ignored, this however prompted the United Nations to place another tougher sanction on the country (North Korea). Recently a vessel carrying palm kernels in the coast of Philippine was impounded by the Philippine authority and this vessel belongs to North Korea. Our (Viewers Corner) correspondent in Manila (Philippine) who contacted the government authority to know why the North Korean vessel was impounded, was told that the Philippine government was acting according to the United Nations sanction deal which was imposed on North Korea as a result of Kim Jong Un’s disobedience. It was further revealed to us that after series of search conducted in the vessel, no ban substance was found, the vessel was only loaded with palm kernels. We also learnt that a more comprehensive method of search may be conducted again by using electronics weapon detecting device so as to be very sure that the vessel was not carrying any dangerous or banned substance. However our take on all these issues concerning the North Korea and the United Nations would have been to seek for peace through different approach perhaps by using diplomacy and dialogue to solve the problems. We assumed that before Kim Jong Un and his country decided to follow a different direction, something may have prompted it which we (Viewers Corner) are suggesting to the civilized nations of the world to use diplomacy and dialogue to resolve, no matter how long it may take to achieve peace. Again the United Nations should play down a bit on the I AM THE GREATEST kind of attitude and find a better means of getting North Korea to seat on a round table and have this issues discussed and finalized. The world should not follow Kim Jong Un and North Korea with all sorts of sanctions because any further sanction placed on the country is not going to affect the leaders but the poor innocent citizens of the country who are being misled by Kim Jong Un and his associates. Therefore, the world should please come together and seek for peace on how to get these issues resolved once and for all, we should not forget that an angry man can do the unthinkable just like Kim Jong Un has threaten to do. Once again, Viewers Corner would use this opportunity to appeal to the United Nations to find a peaceful means to get these issues with North Korea settled.
