African continent moving forward is in the hands of their leaders. Let us take a good look at Uganda for example, president Yoweri Museveni of Uganda who has been in power for so many years refused to step down, he conducts a fake election and at the end reinstall himself. He uses his power as a sitting president to manipulate the votes and get himself back to office, what a shame. Now how can such a country move forward? No one in the country would ever challenge him, the opposition leader (Kizza Besigye) whom most people in Uganda believed to have won the last presidential election in the country was thrown into jail for challenging Yoweri Museveni who claimed to have won the election. This is not right, normally every election should be free and fair but again the good thing in Uganda is that the opposition leader is out of jail and would continue to speak for fairness. Recently Yoweri Museveni, the president of Uganda appointed his wife as the education minister of the country. Even if your wife is qualified to head the education ministry of the country, common sense should have told you (Yoweri Museveni) that it is not right to have the power concentrated in your home alone because we believe that they are lots of qualified women in Uganda which would have handled such position better than your wife but selfishness, greed and the quest for power which is also rampant in other African countries is a major reason the continent is not moving forward. Therefore Viewers Corner News and the advisory team would advise President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda to please retrace his footsteps and do what is right for the citizens of his country (Uganda).
