It was reported that two women and three children from the same family were shot dead on a highway near Tripoli, capital of Libya. According to the report, these people were travelling from Aziziya (their hometown) to Tripoli to get their children vaccinated when unknown militants opened fire on their car and shot them dead. This is less than a week after an airstrike hit a house, killing three people and injured two others. Since April 2019, Tripoli (Libya’s capital) has been a city of fighting between rival militias. A government supported by United Nations, though weak holds Tripoli but the self-styled Libyan National Army is trying to seize the capital (Tripoli). Hundreds of people have been killed and thousands displaced since April the rival militias started fighting in Tripoli (Libya’s capital).
