Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state (Nigeria) is a very corrupt and greedy leader who does not have the interest of the people of his state or anyone except himself and his closest associates who are in the same game of deceit. Governor David Umahi is a man who would manipulate his ways to get what he wants no matter who gets hurt, it does not concern him. He tells the people of Nigeria what they want to hear which again is a direct opposite of who he is and immediately he gets what he wants, then the real Engr. David Umahi would begin to unfold. We (Viewers Corner News team) have monitored governor David Umahi and his activities for so many years and found out so many terrible things about him as someone no one can trust. Now hear the two main reasons governor David Umahi left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressives Congress (APC), leaving his brothers and some of his conspirators behind in PDP so that if APC does not grant his request on time which he would table to them later, then he would fall back to a plan B agenda which he has already perfected should the first plan fails. Governor David Umahi started his games with Babachir David Lawal (the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation) who was also a corrupt man but when that one was sacked, he (governor David Umahi) switched over to late Abba Kyari when he was alive, believing that APC as the leading political party and Mr Abba Kyari as a strong man with connections would assist him to do some manipulations since lots of people in the south east have started calling for an Igbo person to be the president of Nigeria or get the vice president slot but when late Mr Abba Kyari died, governor David Umahi put his plans unhold. Now he has found his ways again through some corrupt individuals in APC at the national level who governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state plays some dirty games with, at this point his (governor David Umahi) calculation was to defect to APC after much consultations with his conspirators. One thing governor David Umahi fails to understand is that his game plans are going to fail him at the end because as they say “Charity begins at home”, in Ebonyi state, governor David Umahi is known as a bad leader who is very corrupt and did not do much for his state despite the huge allocations he has received so far from the federal government of Nigeria to rebuild Ebonyi state. The second reason governor David Umahi left PDP to APC is to avoid being prosecuted when his tenure of office ends because he believes that APC would be in power for a very long time and would not like to prosecute his members. In Ebonyi state, some senior government officials who worked in governor David Umahi’s cabinet in the past have lots of information to prosecute him and have promised to send details of those fraudulent activities to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) when the time is right to do so. Again more than half of the loans given to governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state to execute projects that would benefit the people of his state were allegedly mismanaged. The monthly allocations paid to governor David Umahi’s government by the federal government were not properly utilized to put things right in Ebonyi state, instead governor David Umahi and his corrupt associates keep on manipulating the people of Ebonyi state and those who are bold enough to speak out in the state were either beaten up or threatened. At this point, it is proper to say that governor David Umahi may not get the vice president or president position even if APC zoned it to south east. Based on our (Viewers Corner News team) findings, the south east has lots of credible and hardworking individuals with good sense of humour who can unite the people of Nigeria for good and at the same time build infrastructures that would benefit all Nigerians, certainly not governor David Umahi and his corrupt associates who are looking for ways to keep on enriching themselves and their families while other Nigerians suffer economic hardship. Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state has lots of skeletons in his cupboard and would not make a good president or vice president of Nigeria assuming such opportunity is giving to him which is the truth, take it or leave it. Governor David Umahi joining APC has indirectly ended his vice president or president’s ambition because those he crossed their parts who were in PDP with him in the past but left to APC because of governor David Umahi’s terrible ways would not give him the required attention he needs in APC which is the truth.
