Those who are saying that Twitter should have chosen Nigeria as its base in Africa got it wrong. No business man would want to invest in a place where there is insecurity. Nigeria has lots of issues that the federal government of Nigeria is unable to resolve, starting with various regions across the country wanting to break away from Nigeria to form their own country. Kidnappings and killings of innocent Nigerians are rampant in Nigeria. The power supply is another terrible issue and many more, so how does anyone want an investor to come into Nigeria and invest? Such a move by any investor is like throwing away his or her hard-earned money. Even some of those you employ to run the affairs of your company in Nigeria have hidden agendas, all in the name of getting rich overnight.
