Turkey has offer four million lira ($700,000) for information leading to the arrest of Mohammed Dahlan. The Turkish government accused Mohammed Dahlan of being a mercenary for the United Arab Emirate and also involved in the 2016 failed coup against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The 58-year-old Mohammed Dahlan is a former official in the Palestinian Fatah party and lives in exile in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Turkey placed him (Mohammed Dahlan) on the most wanted terrorist list and also accused him of transferring funds to FETO. He was also linked by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s government to the Gulenist Terror Group (FETO) and US-based Turkish cleric, Fethullah Gulen. Turkish government accused Fethullah Gulen and his FETO movement of being responsible for the July 15, 2016 coup attempted on President Erdogan. Fethullah Gulen has long denied the allegations. Mohammed Dahlan in a recent interview accused President Erdogan of supporting terrorist groups in Syria and stealing gold from the Libyan central bank.
