Recently a trailer fell off from Ojuelegba bridge at Surulere Lagos (Nigeria) causing terrible traffic problems and according to Viewers Corner’s correspondent, this is not the first time such incident is happening at that bridge and also on Nigerian roads generally.
It happens almost all the time thereby causing terrible traffic jams. Therefore, Viewers Corner is appealing to both the state and federal government of Nigeria to please look into this issue and find solution to it, possibly a proper traffic regulation is needed to control these trailers on their fitness to run on Nigeria roads because as these trailers are falling on the roads in this manner, human beings are also being killed. With proper control being conducted at all times on these trailers, accidents may be minimized.
Again, most of these trailers are very old but are still running on Nigeria roads which is not right.
