Tinubu

Time has come to place a death sentence on corrupt, convicted Nigerian leaders at all levels of government.

Ex-president Buhari, a no-nonsense leader of Nigeria at some point who was against corruption and indiscipline, allowed those who worked under his leadership when he was the president of Nigeria to steal lots of money to an unaccountable tune. This is completely unacceptable and should be condemned by Nigerians both at home and abroad. Information has it that a six-year-old child whose father was ex-President Buhari’s personal assistant has on his bank account a sum of over 260 million dollars. This discovery was made by a team of investigators appointed by President Bola Tinubu’s government to look into the records of the central bank of Nigeria, among others. The father of this little child, according to the report, has over a trillion naira in his own bank account, while Nigerians can barely feed themselves. Corruption did not start under ex-president Buhari’s government; it started many years ago, and all Nigerian politicians are involved in this despicable act. Such an evil practice has become the norm in Nigeria’s system. Again, by the time President Bola Tinubu’s government leaves office, the activities of his government will be made known to Nigerians, which may even be the worst. It is just a matter of time. So, Nigerians should wait until President Bola Tinubu’s government leaves power. These politicians who looted the treasury of Nigeria were, at some point, members of other political parties; now they are all members of the All Progressives Congress. These groups of politicians are only following the trend, meaning that they are always on the move to join any ruling political party in Nigeria. They are all the same corrupt politicians who have no conscience. However, we believe that there are a few great Nigerian politicians that can fight corruption and achieve a positive result; among them are Mr. Omoyele Sowore of the African Action Congress, Mr. Peter Obi, and Dr. Datti Baba Ahmed, both of whom are members of the Labour Party of Nigeria. These gentlemen are exceptional leaders, and if they are given the opportunity to lead Nigeria, they will definitely change Nigeria for the better.
