Viewers Corner News correspondent in Belgrade learned that Serbian police have arrested three Australians in Belgrade hotel Foyer over a drug haul that worth 500 million Australian dollars ($400 million). According to the report, the men were arrested on Wednesday and they were linked to the discovery of 1.28 metric tons (1.41 U.S. tons) of cocaine that was seized last year April on a Chinese freighter docked in Sydney, Australia. The drugs which were concealed in pre-fabricated steel in more than 2,500 individual blocks was the second largest cocaine seizure in Australia. Also a Lebanese citizen was detained and charged with having forged identity documents. Last year February, an illicit drug of 1.4 metric tons (1.5 U.S. tons) which was the largest Australian illegal drug haul was found in a yacht as it was allegedly been smuggled from the South Pacific. Six people were charged and face potential life prison sentences.
