Nigeria is a great country and has the ability to turn things around for good if only those at the helm of affairs within the country (Nigeria) are sincere and ready to make some sacrifices which would move the country (Nigeria) forward. Look at Rwanda today for example, the system there is like what you have in most of the advance countries of the world. Good medical facility, good housing program, good road networks and other social benefits are all in place in the country (Rwanda). The reason for Rwanda to have come to this beautiful level they are right now is that the leaders unanimously agreed that they are going to remove their hands from corruption or any other wrong activities that would hinder the development of the country (Rwanda). No selfish interests but to work for the benefit of the country and her citizens which has been their target till today, to create an atmosphere which would attract investors to come to Rwanda and invest. Now the leadership of Rwanda headed by president Paul Kagame is doing quite well and the citizens of the country (Rwanda) are now comfortable. This is one of the reasons the parliament and almost everyone in the country (Rwanda) have approved that president Paul Kagame and his team should continue in office as long as they wish even though democracy made it very clear that elections should be organized at intervals to bring in new leaders to office but the citizens of Rwanda said that the leadership of president Paul Kagame is great, so let him carry on which is understandable. Another important fact here is that the rule of law is working nicely in Rwanda which is the first step in any democratic system of government. Laws should be respected and obeyed without manipulations by anyone if truly the country wants to move forward. Therefore the problem of leadership is what Nigeria has and is affecting the country so badly from moving forward. In Nigeria today, judges who are supposed to be neutral are the most corrupt people in the country (Nigeria). Some lawyers in Nigeria became agents to corrupt judges through which bribe and other dirty dealings are performed. In a situation like this, it would be difficult for the country (Nigeria) to move forward because the language of every sector in Nigeria is corruption, how much money they are going to steal from the treasury of the country (Nigeria) which amount to indiscipline and failure among the leaders of the country (Nigeria). Again if we look around today in Nigeria, most big names in the country (Nigeria) are those who have been in government services right from when they left school in their early days, today they are all billionaires. These are individuals who do not know what doing business is all about, how did they make their billions? They made it by creating loopholes for themselves to loot the treasury of Nigeria. These are leaders who have no conscience and do not care about the welfare of the ordinary person in the country (Nigeria) but only themselves and their families alone which is bad. Therefore the leadership of Nigeria needs self-discipline and not restructuring as some people are suggesting because we (Viewers Corner News team) believe that if the head is getting it right, the ability to coordinate other divisions within the country (Nigeria) to achieve success would be done correctly and nicely too.
