Governor Yahaya Bello winning All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election shows that the problems of Kogi state (Nigeria) and that of Nigeria as a country is bigger than what anyone can imagine, most especially on issue of manipulations. Using money to secure a position whether the said individual merits it or not can never end so soon in the country (Nigeria). If in Kogi state, a man believed by everyone to be owing workers salaries and pensioners allowances for months if not years can still raise his face in his state, asking voters to re-elect him to office and some individuals in the state (Kogi state) out of ignorance, selfishness and disrespect for humanity still campaign for his re-election, then there is a problem. Those campaigning for governor Yahaya Bello’s re-election, how would you feel if for months or years your salaries and pension allowances are not paid? We (Viewers Corner News team) would want you all to put yourselves in those workers and pensioners position who need their money but could not get it. As human beings, ask yourselves this question before supporting such a man for re-election. As far as Viewers Corner News team is concerned, governor Yahaya bello of Kogi state (Nigeria) is a bad news to governance and does not have what it takes to lead his state. It is very unfortunate that most delegates who made it possible for governor Yahaya Bello to win All Progressives Congress (APC) primary have no conscience because if they do, a man like governor Yahaya Bello who is unable to pay workers salaries and pensioners allowances should not have been elected to fly All Progressives Congress (APC) flag in Kogi state (Nigeria). Again our (Viewers Corner News team) concern is based purely on humanitarian ground, workers should be paid so also the pensioners who are elders. As long as the federal government of Nigeria under the leadership of President Buhari is giving monthly allocations to all the states in Nigeria, governor Yahaya Bello and other governors have no reason to owe workers and pensioners under their care because they receive their salaries on monthly basis without stress. We (Viewers Corner News team) are calling on the voters in Kogi state (Nigeria) to quickly go back to the drawing table and look for a candidate from another political party and throw their support for such candidate because as it is now, the ball has shifted to the voters in Kogi state. If you re-elect governor Yahaya Bello to office, then the next four years would not be an easy one. Vote for a candidate no matter his or her political party as long as such candidate would be able to carry the people of Kogi state along, making sure that workers salaries and pensioners allowances are properly paid. Such candidate can be identified by his or her past record, certainly not governor Yahaya Bello because a vote for him is a wasted effort. Let the truth be told always, that is one of the ways Nigeria as a country can move to the next level.
