THOSE ALLEGED CORRUPT NIGERIAN JUDGES CALLED BACK BY NATIONAL JUDICIAL COUNCIL (NUJ) OF NIGERIA TO RESUME DUTY MAY NOT HAVE BEEN THE BEST OPTION.

The National Judicial Council (NJC) of Nigeria may be getting it all wrong this time because those judges who were benched sometime ago as a result of their alleged involvement in some corruption issues, though not proven yet and are now back to work as requested by the National Judicial Council (NJC) of Nigeria has gotten lots of people in the country (Nigeria) talking. Those Nigerian judges whose names were mentioned and linked to corrupt practices should not have been called back to work pending when they are charged and cleared of any wrong doings. We (Viewers Corner News team)  say so because no matter the case they are giving to deliberate on starting from now, there would always be mixed feelings. The trust people had for them in the past may not be there anymore, therefore Viewers Corner News and the advisory team is appealing to the National Judicial Council (NJC) of Nigeria to set a good standard and be more careful in their decisions because the Judiciary in every system of government plays a huge role in making sure that excesses are put on check which would guarantee people’s rights and comfort. If this aspect is dented by corruption or any dirty dealings, then the Judiciary has lost its value completely and should seek a new approach to fix the system correctly.
