The Peoples Democratic Party (P.D.P) of Nigeria will remain in opposition for a very long time because with this sort of statement coming from the party shows that they have not learnt their lessons at all. We (Viewers Corner News team) expect them now to reform the party (P.D.P) and bench those corrupt individuals who are parading themselves within the party as great leaders. This is a party that can not even organize an ordinary convention because of I WANT TO BE THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PARTY AND ALSO I WANT TO BE THE PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA KIND OF SYNDROME. This is a political party (P.D.P) that ruined the economy of the country (Nigeria) during their 16 years of leadership. When they were in power the price of petroleum product was a bit better which would have enabled them to plan ahead but did not do so, what they did was looting and budget padding throughout. The wealth of the country (Nigeria) was shared among themselves (P.D.P), no proper investment and some of the few projects they initiated were never completed because of corruption and now they are blaming president Buhari for being responsible for the economic problems in Nigeria which is not true. Honestly any intelligent person would think differently.
The people of Nigeria should be happy that president Buhari took over power from Peoples Democratic Party/Goodluck Jonathan led government, if not only God knows what would be of Nigeria as a nation by now. Therefore Peoples Democratic party (P.D.P) of Nigeria should not speak at all because they lack management capability and the political will to lead the country (Nigeria). Again the only thing that would save the party (P.D.P) is for them to carry out reforms by bringing new faces into the party, if not they will remain in opposition for a very long time like we have said in the past and we are still repeating it here. Look at the level of corruption during their 16 years of leading Nigeria which president Buhari is trying his best to see if his government can at least recover what they stole from the Nigerian treasury. If they were not so corrupt when Peoples Democratic Party/Goodluck Jonathan led government was leading the country (Nigeria), things generally would not have been in this terrible situation it is at the moment therefore Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria was the virus that ruined the Nigerian economic system and not APC/president Buhari’s government, no and never. So far so good, president Buhari is trying his best, it is very hard in Nigeria at the moment but it will be very good in the near future. What is required now is patience and support from the people of Nigeria so as to enable president Buhari carry out his functions adequately.
