THIS IS A MISPLACEMENT OF PRIORITY EXHIBITED BY ALHAJI MOHAMMED INDIMI, A NIGERIAN BILLIONAIRE WHO DONATED 14 MILLION DOLLARS (4.2 BILLION NAIRA) TO A FOREIGN UNIVERSITY.

The Almighty God told us that he will always love a cheerful giver and a giver will never lack, this is very correct. Viewers corner sincerely appreciate the donation given to University of Lynn, in Florida (USA) by Alhaji Mohammed Indimi at the graduation of his two daughters (Amouna and Hauwa) at the university. He did well for being generous by donating such huge amount of money (14 million dollars) to a university but our take on this is that gift of this sort should be given to the less privilege institutions or persons who need them most which means charity should start from your home (Nigeria). If you look around Nigeria today, lots of people were sent back home for not being able to pay their school fees in most institutions in Nigeria, the widows in Nigeria things are hard for them and need more help from rich men like you (Alhaji Mohammed Indimi). Therefore this money donated just like that to American university would go a long way in helping the needy assuming the donation was given to any institution in Nigeria, even some communities in Nigeria till today have no good hospitals and the environment for learning in the country is not so nice. Somehow if you had carried out your findings properly, you would agree with Viewers corner that this 14 million dollars would mostly be needed in your country (Nigeria) instead of given it out just like that to an institution that has enough. However we do not know your reason for donating such huge amount of money to a university that is well funded leaving the ones in your country (Nigeria) that are less equipped, honestly schools in your country (Nigeria) need such donation more.

Our advice to Alhaji Indimi Mohammed is this, since you have such huge amount of money to donate as a rich man, we believe that where this one came from they are more left behind so kindly donate equally to other higher institutions of learning in Nigeria most especially in their medical schools and also create more opportunities for the youths of the country (Nigeria) rather than spending it on those that already have enough and may not appreciate it so much. Please have a second thought on this issue when such donation is being given in the near future, this is food for thought.
