THE WAR AGAINST SCAMMERS AND OTHER FRAUDULENT PRACTICES IN NIGERIA IS A WELCOME DEVELOPMENT WHICH SHOULD BE EXTENDED TO POLITICIANS WHO LOOTED THE TREASURY.

It will be nice if the alleged collaboration of FBI and other intelligence agencies in Nigeria would be sincere to work together as a team to end the activities of scammers who many believed to be Nigerians so that their victims and would be victims worldwide can have peace. We (Viewers Corner News team) would also appeal to those intelligence agencies to extend their nets to those politicians who stole money belonging to the people of Nigeria and carried them to countries abroad for safe keeping because they are part of the problems when issues of corruption and fraud is mentioned. No matter the status of anyone in Nigeria who is involved in this fraudulent practice, he or she should be brought to face justice. Viewers Corner News team would also use this opportunity to plead with the federal government of Nigeria to revisit Mrs Patience Goodluck Jonathan’s case because a court of law in Nigeria asked her to forfeit huge amount of money and property in her possession to the federal government of Nigeria which she can not explain how she got them. This means that they were obtained through looting the treasury of Nigeria using the privileges she had when the husband was the president of Nigeria. The federal government of Nigeria should use such a woman as an example for others to learn, she deserves to be behind bars but nothing has been said or done after she refunded the alleged loot. We (Viewers Corner News team) have seen in most countries of the world where ex-first ladies were sent to jail for stealing money from their country’s treasury but in Nigeria, ex-first lady would steal billions of Naira and go free while a young man on the street would steal peanut and be jailed or hanged which is not right. Again, for the war on corruption to gain weight, those politicians and their associates should be brought to book because they ruined the country (Nigeria). Where is Diezani Allison Madueke, ex-minister of petroleum in Nigeria who looted the treasury of the country (Nigeria)? She is in United Kingdom enjoying herself. Such group of people are what the intelligence agencies should go after and bring them to face trials in Nigeria and not only the scammers.
