It was reported that the U.S E-11A military aircraft crashed on Monday in Deh Yak district of Ghazni province, Afghanistan. It was believed that about 10 people were on board. The militant group, Taliban has claimed responsibility. A spokesman for the Taliban, Zabihullah Mujahid said in a statement that the plane which was on an intelligence mission was brought down by the group in Sado Khel area of Deh Yak district of Ghazni province. The Taliban controls large parts of Ghazni province. The U.S. officials stated that there were no indications that the plane had been brought down by the Taliban.
