The United States and India recently signed agreement to share geospatial intelligence (information-sharing agreement), thereby paving way for the two countries to have deeper military cooperation. According to the report our correspondent in New Delhi gathered, the agreement would give India’s armed forces access to a wealth of data from U.S. military satellites to aid in targeting and navigation. The agreement was signed in New Delhi (India) during the recent visit made by Mike Pompeo (US Secretary of State) and Mark T. Esper (Defense Secretary) to India. Mark T. Esper (Defense Secretary) said that the agreement would help the two countries to face China’s increasing aggression and destabilizing activities.
