Viewers Corner’s correspondent gathered that the twelve military officers including Brigadier-General Aliyu Momoh who allegedly conducted themselves unprofessionally during the governorship elections in 2014 governorship election in Ekiti and Osun states and the 2015 general elections have been retired by the Army Council. These officers (three serving Majors-General and one retired, three Brigadiers-General, four colonels and one Lieutenant-Colonel) were also handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for investigation, this might lead to them being arraigned before a Court Martial after the investigation.
Captain Sagir Koli exposed these officers by recording their conversation at a meeting where the plot to rig these elections occurred. Also Captain Sagir Koli has been reabsorbed into the army and has been sent on a post-graduate course abroad for professional training.
