After five years of deadly battles, the Islamic state group’s caliphate has been ended as the terrorist group lost its final territory in Baghuz in eastern Syria. Mustafa Bali, the head of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced the jihadist group defeat on Saturday, 23 March 2019 and President Donald Trump of United State has praised the liberation of Syria. Despite the total defeat of Islamic state group, the whereabout of the group’s overall leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is still unknown.
