It is very sad, painful, terrible and unbelievable for some individuals in this world to see the road to greatness and then decide to follow the wrong way because
they are in power and there is nothing anyone in the country can do to them, this is the situation in Burundi. Viewers Corner is concern about the continuous loss of life caused by Pierre Nkurunziza who has refused to step down after having completed his two terms of office, instead of respecting the constitution and laws of Burundi which specifies not more than two terms for every sitting president of Burundi. Pierre Nkurunziza of Burundi has successfully completed his two terms, he went ahead and install himself the third time as the president of Burundi. Viewers Corner is asking, why? Because of quest for power. If after completed his two terms in office which of cause he did and stepped down, the killings of innocent citizens of Burundi would not have happened. Burundi as we speak now has turned into a killing field.
Viewers Corner is calling on the United Nations and the African Union to act fast and think of a solution to this problem, they should not always wait until the situation is out of hand before acting. This is the time to act because innocent civilians are being killed and lots of Burundi citizens are fleeing the country as a result of this injustice being carried out by the illegal government of Pierre Nkurunziza, the President of Burundi.
Again, Pierre Nkurunziza also said that he is a born again christian, then Viewers Corner is asking him to follow the ways of God by keeping the will of the people and laws of Burundi. You can not be a born again christian and allow the citizens of your country to be killed in such a way as a result of the problems you created in your country Burundi, you can only be a born again christian when you respect the will of God Almighty and his people which Pierre Nkurunziza has refused to accept and is also a sin against God and humanity too. Therefore, Viewers Corner is asking Pierre Nkurunziza to respect God’s will by stepping down so that Burundi can have peace again.
