The Constitution of Nigeria permits all Nigerians to work, do business, and own properties in any part of the country if they so wish. Therefore, the Lagos State House of Assembly should not be discriminatory in its laws to favour a particular group of individuals. The Lagos State House of Assembly belongs to all Nigerians living in that state and not to a particular group of people; this is what the constitution of Nigeria says. The Viewers Corner News team is referring Mr. Mudashiru Obasa, who is the Lagos state speaker of the House of Assembly, to go and update his knowledge of the law of Nigeria for a better understanding. Again, he has to be guided and concentrate on how to make Lagos State work better. Again, Section 43 of the constitution of Nigeria grants all Nigerians the right to own properties in any part of the country, and until that aspect of the constitution is changed, the speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly and his group are not in any position to alter such laws as the constitution of Nigeria says.
