Our (Viewers Corner News team) findings revealed that lots of controversies are going on in the leadership hierarchy of the ruling political party (APC) in Nigeria. A political party (APC) which would like to retain power in the next general elections (2023) should not be marred with lots of negative issues which the Nigerian public are reacting to at the moment. Based on that, we (Viewers Corner News team) are calling on those at the leadership position in the party (APC) to be more careful when it comes to issues that relate to the Nigerian public. Nigerians both home and abroad are having the notion that Mr Abba Kyari who is President Buhari’s most trusted man is the one leading the country (Nigeria) and most of the controversies going on in Aso Rock centered on him. He (Mr Abba Kyari) decides who stays and who does not as alleged. Another issue which those who spoke to Viewers Corner News is not comfortable with is the issue of the first lady of Nigeria (Mrs Aisha Buhari) who just went underground after the general elections, people of Nigeria are of the opinion that all is not well. If all is well, she (Mrs Aisha Buhari) should have been visible or reachable to her supporters as the first lady of Nigeria because lots of her supporters who gave President Buhari their votes during the general elections would want to know about their first lady (Mrs Aisha Buhari). The vice president Osinbajo’s issue is also another factor. People are saying that the picture is not clear concerning the vice president’s activities in Aso Rock. Even most recent travels President Buhari did out of the country, some Nigerians are saying that the President did not hand over the country to the vice president as the constitution of the country (Nigeria) demanded and many other uncomfortable issues which are capable of bringing down a political party in Nigeria. Another well known fact is the detention of some journalists and activists by President Buhari’s government. Transparency has not fully been shown in President Buhari’s government which is also troubling. In any Democratic government, transparency and accountability should be the key words. Again, certain issues concerning the Nigerian public are also not properly treated to satisfaction, however we (Viewers Corner News team) are pleading with President Buhari and those around him to review their system and start making things a bit easier for the people of the country (Nigeria).
