THE ROAD SAFETY IN LAGOS STATE AND ACROSS THE COUNTRY (NIGERIA) SHOULD ENFORCE THE LAW BANNING TRAILER-TRUCKS CARRYING CONTAINERS WITHOUT ADEQUATE SECURITY LOCKS.

There are lots of vehicles most especially trailer-trucks plying the Nigerian roads that are not road worthy. Look at this trailer-truck carrying container in the city of Lagos (Nigeria) which fell off and killed innocent citizens who were going about doing their business, what a sad and painful story. Honestly we give the blame to the Lagos state road safety authority because their job is to control these terrible worn-out vehicles on the road most especially trailer-trucks that are carrying containers without adequate key locks. Even some tankers that are carrying petroleum products within the country (Nigeria) are worse based on our (Viewers Corner News) findings, it is only by the grace of God that much fire incidents have not been happening on the country’s (Nigeria) roads. Therefore we are appealing to the government of Lagos state to put more efforts and get these vehicles that are not road worthy out of the road and also control the trailer-trucks carrying containers to make sure that adequate security locks are provided when transporting their goods so as to avoid such incident from happening again. This is not the first time a container is falling out of a moving vehicle in Lagos state and across the country (Nigeria) and in most times innocent lives were lost. Please protect and save the lives of your citizens, this is one of the reasons of having a functional government.
