THE RESIGNATION OF PROFESSOR BERNARD ODOH (SECRETARY TO EBONYI STATE GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIA) IS A BLOW TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF GOVERNOR DAVID UMAHI OF EBONYI STATE.(NIGERIA).

Professor Bernard Odoh (the former secretary to the government of Ebonyi state) resigned because governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state (Nigeria) who was his boss has refused to listen to the voice of reasoning as regards governance. A time would come in a man’s life when certain decisions are made no matter how difficult it may be which professor Bernard Odoh did and now an allegation of murder is being tired on his neck. This is governor David Umahi’s system of pinning down those working in his administration. Once you are in, you must do governor David Umahi’s bidding or face the consequences. This is not the first time such incident is happening in Ebonyi state but the only surprising thing here is that as governor of Ebonyi state, he (David Umahi) uses his power and money meant for the people of Ebonyi state to intimidate them and most of those that are loyal to him as he claimed were bought over based on our (Viewers Corner News team) findings. Somehow, they all know the truth but are very scared to speak out because of what governor David Umahi and his thugs would do to them if they speak the truth. Again we (Viewers Corner News team) would use this opportunity to plead with the people of Ebonyi state to think properly and ask themselves some questions. Since governor David Umahi became the governor of Ebonyi state, what has he done for them? Salaries of workers which he claimed to have been paying in Ebonyi state were not paid in full, Pensioners’ allowances and gratuities are also not paid despite the huge money he collects as allocation from the federal government of Nigeria on monthly basis, bailout funds, Paris loan refund including other loans he collected so far to improve the welfare of the people of Ebonyi state has been pocketed by governor David Umahi and few of his close associates which is bad. Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state is a member of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria and this political party (PDP) has nothing to offer the people of Ebonyi state because corruption has taken control of them both at the state and national level. Therefore, we (Viewers Corner News team) are calling on the good people of Ebonyi state to vote the progressives to power come 2019 and enjoy the true dividend of democracy.
