THE RECENT RULING BY THE SUPREME COURT ALLOWING THE CASE AGAINST THE SENATE PRESIDENT BUKOLA SARAKI TO CONTINUE IS QUITE APPROPRIATE, THE RULE OF LAW MUST PREVAIL.

As a politician or as a well placed individual in the society, the citizens of the country (Nigeria) see Bukola Saraki as their role model. We know that no one is perfect in this world but when it comes to a situation like this, everyone no matter how well placed he or she may be in any society, it is important that we obey the law of the land. Again, Bukola Saraki knows very clearly what the Nigeria law says when any individual declares his or her assets wrongly but he allegedly went ahead and declared his falsely. Normally if it were in other nations of the world since such allegation has been made known to the public, the only option would have been for Bukola Saraki to resign from his position as the Senate President of Nigeria because his credibility as the Senate President of Nigeria is questionable. Even if the court of law in Nigeria has not proved your case to be true, this is an allegation and we (Viewers Corner)) do understand that properly but the fact that your name has been mentioned and all the facts point towards your direction, which is more than enough reason for you to resign instead of waiting for the court to deliver judgement on the case. Therefore, what some of your colleagues in the senate suggested in our (Viewers Corner) opinion is quite appropriate, they are asking you (Bukola Saraki) to resign before the court sends you out of office so as to avoid being embarrassed, please do the right thing and remain with your honour before it is too late.
