Our (Viewers Corner News) correspondent in Nigeria who travelled to Abakaliki in Ebonyi state (Nigeria) for the mega rally organized by All Progressives Congress (APC) reported to us that it was a huge success. We (Viewers Corner News team) sincerely appreciate the good works of the APC family in Ebonyi state for having staged such a huge rally which was very peaceful. At this point, it would be fair to say that the great people of Ebonyi state (Nigeria) are ready for a change which Viewers Corner News team have been pleading for.
We (Viewers Corner News team) would also use this opportunity to plead with the APC family in Ebonyi state to bring candidates with good track records during the party’s primaries. There should be no sentiment or political games when selecting who would carry the people of Ebonyi state (Nigeria) to the next level during the primaries. An individual who had been tested in the past, who can deliver infrastructures which would be of benefits to the people of Ebonyi state should be selected. Based on our (Viewers Corner News team) findings, Ebonyi state (Nigeria) has great people who are ready to take the state to a greater height. We (Viewers Corner News team) know them and would campaign for them at the right time because the welfare of mankind has always been our goal.
When governor David Umahi became the governor of Ebonyi state (Nigeria), most people thought that he would carry everyone along which he never did instead he worked for himself and his family alone, leaving the ordinary people of Ebonyi state with hardship. Even the infrastructures built by the past governments in Ebonyi state were neglected, ordinary clean water for people of the state to drink is nowhere to be found which is bad. Promises made by governor David Umahi concerning salaries of workers were not kept, Pensioners’ gratuities and allowances are not paid. The direct labour system he introduced in his administration was for his close associates and family only. They use this method to execute contracts in Ebonyi state (Nigeria) and share the proceeds alone while contractors in Ebonyi state (Nigeria) are left behind which is bad. This is wickedness, selfishness and lack of leadership quality on the part of governor David Umahi but now that the progressives (APC) would be coming in to get things done the right way, a great change would be noticed which everyone is looking forward to and it shall come.
