THE RAW MATERIAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF NIGERIA AND OTHERS HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO PERFORM THEIR DUTIES PROPERLY AND COME UP WITH SOMETHING GOOD SINCE THIRTY THREE YEARS AS ALLEGED.

We (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to the federal government of Nigeria to review the activities of most research institutes in the country (Nigeria), some of them headed by professors and doctors with paper qualifications are wasting Nigeria’s hard earned money. If they can not perform their duties properly, it is better to close them down or merge them with other institutes in the country (Nigeria) instead of making money available to them on yearly basis for research work without any positive result. Doing so would save the federal government of Nigeria huge amount of money which can be invested in other projects. As it is now, it does not make sense wasting money on research institutes that would not perform properly, there are other areas which need the attention of the federal government of Nigeria. The huge amount of money being spent to keep these redundant research institutes in Nigeria can be used to fix those areas that need funding. Again, time has come for Nigeria as a country to take stock of where and how the country’s earnings should be distributed, any venture that is not viable should be closed down completely. Listening to the boss of the raw material research institute of Nigeria sometime ago when he was invited to speak on the activity of the institute, one would agree with Viewers Corner News team that in decades of operation of that institute, money budgeted to them for research work has always been a waste because the man only spoke of Kilishi production which is a total failure coming from such institute. We (Viewers Corner News team) are calling on the federal government of Nigeria to review the services of all the research institutes in Nigeria. There are so many government agencies in the country (Nigeria) where corruption is huge but lots of people in Nigeria are not paying attention to those areas because it is not popular in the country (Nigeria) but those in that division in Nigeria have secretly been enriching themselves through the allocation giving to them by the federal government of Nigeria to carry out various research works that would bring benefits to the people of the country (Nigeria) but at the end, the money would find its way directly into their private pockets which is bad. More on this topic would come in our (Viewers Corner News team) next article.
