The citizens of Democratic Republic of Congo (D.R.C) have stepped up action against president Joseph Kabila who has started his manipulations on how he would re-install himself to power after the end of his tenure which expires this year 2016. Our (Viewers Corner News) source in Democratic Republic of Congo who is a senior government official in president Joseph Kabila’s government revealed to Viewers Corner News that panic has gripped the government of president Joseph Kabila because he never wanted to step down from power.
He also revealed to us that president Joseph Kabila’s government is looking for a fault that would enable them cancel the presidential election which would be held towards the end of this year so that he would continue in office but the people of the country have spoken. The recent rally in the country shows that president Joseph Kabila and his government are no longer welcomed in the country (D.R.C), thousands of people were seen waving opposition flags calling on president Joseph Kabila to step down when his tenure expires.
His staying in office more than required by the constitution of the country is against the law and the citizens of the country would resist any attempt to undermine the constitution.
Viewers Corner News would use this opportunity to appeal to president Joseph Kabila like we advised him in the past to kindly respect the will of the people, respect the constitution of the country which says that you (Joseph Kabila) should not stay more than required in office which you would be completing this year. Please hand over power to the next government and save the country from going into war just like what is happening in Burundi where over 450 citizens of the country have been killed because the self imposed president, Pierre Nkurunziza has refused to step down when his tenure in office expired.
