If African Union (AU) is playing her role properly, they should have been able to advise president Paul Biya of Cameroon to step down and hand over the leadership of his country (Cameroon) to a more reasonable leader who would see all the people of Cameroon as one and create infrastructures that would benefit all the people of the country (Cameroon). For a very long time, killings have been going on in Cameroon. The people suffering such brutality are mostly from the English speaking part of the country (Cameroon) and president Paul Biya is not handling the matter as it should be. The most surprising aspect is that the African Union is not saying anything concerning the atrocity going on in the country (Cameroon) which is bad. One of the functions of African Union is to mediate urgently anywhere there is conflict within any country in the continent of Africa but the African Union would sit on the fence watching countries within the continent killing themselves without finding a way to stop such atrocity.
In Cameroon today, there are lots of displaced people who are facing starvation and president Paul Biya is not giving listening ear to them. We (Viewers Corner News team) then call on the African Union (AU) to kindly look into this matter and have it resolved as soon as possible because these are human beings being killed like animals which is not right in the face of God and humanity. Please now is the time to bring this issue of killings to an end so that those displaced people of Cameroon can go back home and have peace.
