THE PRESIDENT OF ANGOLA, JOSE EDUARDO DOS SANTOS IS RUNNING A DICTATORSHIP SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT, HE HAS BEEN IN POWER SINCE 1979.

Time has come for all African leaders to start telling themselves the truth and nothing but the truth, again is so surprising that a country like Angola is still running a dictatorship kind of government in this modern time, this is very bad.

The president  of Angola, Mr Jose Eduardo dos Santos has been in power since 1979 and has ruled the country like his own private business. This President has caused lots of damages to the citizens of Angola, this is an oil rich nation that is supposed to be among the best in the world but there is nothing good to write home about as a result of corruption, greed and selfishness. He has refused completely to carry out real economic reforms that would benefit the citizens of Angola instead he has personalized most projects for himself and his family alone.
Another sad aspect is that he victimizes the opposition group, no one challenges him or else the person will be thrown into jail. Lots of Angolan citizens that opposed his policies are up till now in the prison, this is a disgrace to the continent of Africa and the world. Jose Eduardo dos santos should step down because staying in power for too long has made him out stayed his usefulness and the Western world are still doing business with him because of what they are benefiting from him. No one sees anything wrong in him being in power for too long, this is not right.
Therefore, time has come for the whole world to stand against injustices Jose Eduardo dos santos has allegedly committed, lots of human right violations but no one seems to call him to order. Viewers corner is appealing to the African Union and the United Nations to mediate and ask Mr Eduardo dos santos of Angola to step down. He should conduct real election for the country and hand over power to the next person. Again, he should release all the political detainees in the Angola prison because Viewers corner’s investigation has shown that those political detainees are only there for expressing their opinion on political issues, and because their criticism do not favour his policies, that is why he is still detaining them in jail, this is not fair.
