Lawal Musa Daura, the former Director General of Nigerian Department of State Services (DSS) went too far by blocking members of the National Assembly of Nigeria from entering the premises, perhaps he took such decision to favour a particular group of people for political reasons which is bad. This ugly incident should be condemned completely, but now that he has been removed from office and replaced with another Senior officer in the agency (Mr Mathew Seiyefa), there should be normalcy in the country (Nigeria). Again, the acting president of Nigeria (Professor Yemi Osibanjo) did well by sacking Malam Lawal Musa Daura. This terrible man has played dirty games in president Buhari’s administration and should leave. He was among the cabals who never wanted president Buhari to succeed and more of such men would follow suit, they are enemies of progress in Nigeria.
We (Viewers Corner News team) would use this opportunity to plead with other law enforcement agencies in Nigeria to stop intimidating the people of the country (Nigeria), they should act in accordance with the law of the country (Nigeria). Not too long ago, our (Viewers Corner News) correspondent in Lagos (Nigeria) captured SARS operatives beating a civilian which is bad. Wearing a government uniform does not give any officer of any agency the right to intimidate anyone, there are procedures which should be followed if anyone offends the law which we (Viewers Corner News team) are asking men of the armed forces in Nigeria to apply rather than taking laws into their own hands.
