Permanent Voters Cards

The Permanent Voters Cards belonging to some Nigerians who reside and registered in Abuja were allegedly dumped on the streets of Lagos.

Some Nigerians who wrote to the Viewers Corner News office forwarded some disturbing images concerning the Permanent Voters Cards of some Nigerians who reside in Abuja and Port Harcourt in Rivers State, Nigeria. These Permanent Voters’ Cards were found on the streets of Lagos and in a gutter in Port Harcourt. This is wickedness and also an act of sabotage. This is an indisciplined and unpatriotic act. The Viewers Corner News team condemns this horrible act. Based on the information, most of those cards belong to some people from the southern part of Nigeria, who are mostly Christians, as alleged. Our take on this issue is that those who threw away these permanent voter’s cards may have done so to hurt a particular candidate or candidates. But consider this: what if some of the cards thrown into the trash or gutter belong to people who will vote for a candidate supported by the perpetrators of this heinous crime? Therefore, throwing permanent voter’s cards away in such a large quantity may deprive your candidate of the possibility of winning the election. The Viewers Corner News team is appealing to those individuals engaged in this wicked act to stop. Do not throw away people’s permanent voter’s cards because no one knows who the owner of those cards will cast their votes for.
